As a nature lover, I chose Gjerdset Turistsenter for a peaceful getaway. My stay was delightful, lasting a few days. The highlight was the stunning lake view, and I even got to sail on the lake with their boat. The outdoor hot bathtub was a unique feature, along with the option to cook in my cabin's kitchenette and use the common barbecue. The staff were friendly, and the dinner and breakfast in the open air were a treat.
Would recommend this hotel.

The room was amazing! It had a kitchen with an oven, fridge, and stovetop. I could easily cook my own meals and save money. The seating area was cozy, and the flat-screen TV was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Plus, the balcony provided a great view!
The only thing I didn't fancy was having to clean the room myself. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Spacious, clean "hytte" with kitchen facilities. Lucky day with a upgraded cabin for same price. Enjoyed hot tub and free boat usage on nearby lake. Lovely farm setting with fjord access. Helpful owner.

We had an amazing stay at a cozy cabin with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The location was easy to find and conveniently located off the highway. The cabin was clean and well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed free access to paddle boats, row boats, and canoes, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only downside was that the hot tub was often occupied by other guests for an extended period of time.

The location was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views of the fjord and mountains. The highlight for our family was the water sports area near the property. We had a fantastic time paddling around on the lake in the boats provided, enjoying the freedom and tranquility of the surroundings. It was a perfect opportunity for quality family time and creating unforgettable memories. The two-bedroom cottage we stayed in had all the facilities we needed and was clean and comfortable. The Jacuzzi was an added bonus, allowing us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Trollstigen and the stunning lookout at litlefjellet. We cannot recommend this place enough!
For dads, it would be great to have a small playground area for the kids.

Enjoyed fishing and canoeing in the surroundings, while admiring the mountain view and lake view from the well-equipped cottage. The hot tub was a nice touch too.
Who needs blinds on a toilet window or functional door handles? Just adds excitement to your bathroom experience, right?

The cottages had a terrace where I could watch the beautiful view, while enjoying a hot tub. They even provided me with free WiFi to share this amazing experience!
Who needs more than just a bed in a room? Definitely not me!

We stayed at Gjerdset Turistsenter Villa and had an amazing experience. the view from our cabin was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the fantastic weather we had. We were able to relax in front of the cabin, enjoy a delicious barbecue that we cooked ourselves, and simply appreciate the stunning scenery. the separate bathroom and toilet were located next to a waterfall, which made it feel even more magical. We were so impressed with our stay that we would definitely come back again. Cons: Not one thing 🌟.

The location of the accommodation is beautiful, with stunning views from almost all the huts. The huts themselves are cute and nice, providing a cozy atmosphere for a comfortable stay. The landlord is friendly and accommodating, making sure to quickly provide the key upon arrival.
The communication regarding the location of the holiday home and cabin could have been better, causing inconvenience for guests who had booked both.

The owner kindly provided us with boats to explore the serene waters, and it was such a memorable experience for the whole family. The surrounding views of Romsdalfjorden and the nearby towns of Andalsnes, Isfjorden, and Trollstigen were breathtaking. We only wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the beautiful lake and the boating activity.
For families with young children, my wife says that having more playground facilities in the camping area would have been a great addition.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
